    Year 2 Week 7

All is not lost for Arkansas yet!!!

The Razorbacks came into there week 7 matchup with a 1-5 record and very little hope of turning around a rough season. The Razorbacks jump out to an early 21-0 lead on the Auburn tigers. QB Tyler Wilson led the early charge with touchdown passes of 10 and 52 yards.

Arkansas desperatly needed to establish a running game to slow the clock and to control the ball. RB Ronnie Wingo did just that, having 31 carries, 222 yards, and 3 TD's.

Big game next week against undefeated Ole Miss.

    Hokies End Mountaineers Perfect Season
    [IMG]
The Mountaineers raced to a 14-7 lead, but the Tech Defense locked down and forced turnovers to beat #4 West Virginia

    BLACKSBURG, VIRGINIA
-- Saturday night was a night of big matchups in the Top 10, but many focused on LSU-Florida. WV-VT was overlooked by many, but Tech made their statement that they are major players in the ACC once again. The Virginia Tech Hokies have turned their season around after a 1-2 start scared the Tech faithful, but the ship has been righted. Rivalry was the foundation of the game that proved Virginia Tech was the better team this season. Offensively they were powered by Running Back Darren Evans who ran for over 200 yards on the evening. The Defense and Special Team was opportunistic by forcing multiple turnovers. VT scored in all 3 phases of the game which gave the team a major boost that lead to victory.

    Offensive Players of the Game:
    HB Darren Evans 26 rushes, 219 yards, & 2 TD's
    Defensive Player of the Game:
    S Eddie Whitley 6 tackles & 1 FF

    LSU GETS MEAN

    -Death Valley

LSU faced another SEC foe in the form of Kentucky. LSU's offense kept em alive in this one as Kentucky found hole after hole in LSU's D. The Tigers would seal the victory in the 4th as Mike Ford found the endzone twice in less than 2 minutes. It's Coach JD's first victory in the Hurt Locker. He assured us, there will be many more.

    First Quater
0:48 TD LSU: B. Scott, 33 Yd pass from J. Jefferson (D. Helton kick)
0:00 TD UK: R. Cobb, 81 Yd pass from M. Newton (J. Mansour kick)

    Second Quater
4:23 FG LSU: D Helton, 24 Yd FG
2:29 TD UK: B. Adams, 59 Yd Pass from M. Newton (J. Mansour kick)
0:41 TD LSU: P. Peterson, returned fumble 62 Yds (D. Helton kick)
0:17 TD UK: B. Gainer, 75 Yd run (J.Mansour kick)

    Third Quater:
3:46 TD LSU: M. Ford, 4 Yd run (D. Helton kick)

    Fourth Quater:

New head coach ryalaman picked a good time to come in to get acclimated to South Carolina as his Gamecocks were far superior to the Midshipmen of Navy in their 27-7 win. The offense struggled a little bit all day and will need some work, but that might be expected with a playbook that the coaches have never seen before. Despite this, the one thing that the new coaching staff found out right away is that Marcus Lattimore is a certified beast. They plan on riding him to an SEC title if possible. On the other side of the ball, the South Carolina defense was swarming, only allowing the final TD with the defensive 2nd team on the field as time expired in the game. The option was simply no match for the team speed of the Gamecocks.

Next up for the Gamecocks is the Commodores of Vanderbilt.
