Buckeyes add a few prospects in weeks 1 and 2

    Week 1:

    :5stars: Brad Bailey (ATH #2, OVR #3)
    79 OVR (57% scouted)
    - Projects as a HB but might end up on the defensive side due to some of his skills. We will need to see the rest of his tape before making a decision.

    Week 2:

    :3stars: Frank Walker (SS #13, OVR #341)
    79 OVR (100% scouted)
    - Frank really wanted to come to OSU and we are happy to sign him. We did not talk to him in week 1 but he instantly signed when offered a scholarship in week 2.

    :3stars: Clay Roberts (C #33, OVR #944)
79 OVR (100% scouted) JUCO JR
    - He is another OSU JUCO offensive lineman, giving the Buckeyes some added depth along line while high school recruits develop. He might redshirt next season if Jacoby Boren returns.

picked up a tackle this week should turn out to be a beast 4 star 81 overall Kevin Mccollum (6'6 310) his blocking stats are all mid 80's and he projects to be a super beast in a year or two. could get the start right away depending on who decides to leave this season. we have a lot of people visiting week 5 i am hoping that some of the players wont commit til then. last season they all commited early and i was playing catch up the rest of the season

In week 2 did you get a x2 bonus on the #1 and #7 cornerbacks? I am trying to figure out how you jumped me on those 2 players. I think I put 60 minutes into each player and the #1 CB visited Columbus in week 2 (A+ visit btw).

Nah I just made promises. Over the offseason my coach integrity shot up and now I get around 300 per promise rather than 200 so that coupled with a lot of high pitches this year I got like 4 or 5 1300 point calls

I pretty much avoid them and stick to the 4's and 3's.

FSU has 3 signings to announce:

Young looks like a beast! With a year of RS and strength training, he should be a force on the DLine!

Great strength and acceleration may move him into a backup OT next season.

His dad played for FSU but he may get Creaned at cut players.

heres my super beast in the making. as you can see the blocking ratings are solid to start so a little added age and strength and he is gonna be huge for our running game

Then that is a 70 limit only replace those leaving. I don't see that on the Recruit Boards. All I know is you guys swallowed up a huge blackhole of talent. I certainly do not mean to cast a shadow upon anything going on. But then again if that means a freshman gets to take a Senior spot on stats ? Is it Need or Greed. I prefer Need

My Team is on 4 Star Alert for 1St Choice Automatic because its pointless atm :)

SS #1 Devron Jones (81 OVR 100% scouted) and SS #13 Frank Walker (79 OVR 100% scouted)
    - These two will battle for playing time over the next several seasons, and we may look at rolling out a 4-2-5 defense. Starter Rory Henderson is only a sophomore and reserve Najee Murray is a redshirt sophomore.

ATH #24 Ryan Brown (79 OVR 15% scouted) and ATH #3 Brad Bailey (78 OVR 57% scouted)
    - Bailey will likely end up at HB while Brown is probably a WR. We need to see a lot more tape on these players before determining their roles next season.

C Clay Roberts (79 OVR 100% scouted JUCO JR)
    - The only offensive lineman signed so far in this class. Hoping to add more bodies at that position before next season. Roberts may redshirt next season but could start once Jacoby Boren graduates.

Just updated my board. UCLA got an early commitment from a 4 star DE that will be moved to DT Dennis Daugherty 6'5 294. He is a run stopper and could be on the field very early.

got three more recruits this week.

possibly the fastest recruit of the season with 98 speed and 96 acceleration he will most likely be a cb as his coverage skills are nice but also due to the fact that there are two running backs right on the cusp of commiting

Another speedster at cb his coverage skills are even better and he will be a staple in the defense

Who would have thought another cb lol his speed is great as well and his zone coverage skills are a great addition. this will be a great class of cornerbacks. if you couldnt tell there could be a bit of a focus on defense this year lol gonna try to bring in some good linemen as well to help shore up the running attack

the bigg dawgg - glad I was able to beat you out on at least 1 CB. I quit on Thurman after week 3 when you jumped me.

    - Very good man cover skills and good enough speed. He should be a solid addition to OSU secondary and he may see the field next season. OSU loses 3 senior cornerbacks after this season.

    - Very good athlete that could play nearly every offensive skill position. We may use him at WR since the Hodges brothers have a lock down on QB spot.

Here are the guys I mentioned in my earlier post:

morales is the one i really wanted. i was looking at him to be a great speed back but now the way my board is looking its prolly gonna have 2 more hbs coming down so he will be a cb and return specialist
