    Scholarships = graduating seniors + empty roster spaces + 2 (allowed to sign a total of 72 players for next season)

    Going over recruiting limits will result in penalties this year, so keep a close eye on your board

    -2 scholarships next season for each player signed above 72

    -1 :5stars: scholarship the following season for each :5stars: signed above 2, plus you will need to cut the extra :5stars: players signed this season.

    If anyone signs 3 or more :5stars: above the limit that team will be permantly banned from signing players at that level. This team will also be required to cut additional :5stars: players above the limit.

    13 seniors + 0 empty roster spaces + 2 = 15

    I cut my 2 extra 5:5stars: players from last season and will be limited to signing only 2 :5stars:

    15 seniors + 0 empty roster spots + 2 = 17 scholarships

    1 very mediocre signing in week 1 and I am probably going to regret burning that scholarship in a few weeks.

    It is +2 for buffer so I marked you down for 18, will change if you are below 70 on your current roster

    I need to know how many seniors you have this year, plus any empty roster spaces.

    I also need scholarship numbers for GMONEY 15 and -Cougars-

    It looks like 5 or 6 of the top 10 players in the class will sign with CPU teams. The only wildcard in the group is #4 ATH Jerry Martin. He has Auburn #1 but visited Ohio State in week 6.

    Week 7

    - (****) SS Mike Howard has committed to Ohio State (Howard is the long-term starter after Devron Jones (JR) and Frank Walker (R-SO) leave the program.
    - (*****) WR T.J. Ross has committed to Ohio State (Ross will be a reserve next season but should develop into a superstar, he will play WR for the Buckeyes.
    - (****) K Trevor Crooks has committed to Ohio State (Crooks will take over the starting role next season as Deon Crews graduates)
    - (****) LG David Jack has committed to Ohio State (Jack is a very good linemen that should be a 2-3 year starter)
    - (****) RE Scott Griffith has committed to Ohio State (Griffith will be a reserve next season and could start in a few years)
    - (****) RT Kevin Williams has committed to Ohio State (Curry and Williams will be bookend tackles for OSU for several seasons)
    - (****) RG Dan Gipson has committed to Ohio State (Gipson is a solid prospect that will likely redshirt next season)

    Week 5

    - (***) FB Chris Hills has committed to Ohio State (Hillis will take over the starting role next season as Ryan Johnson is set to graduate)

    Week 3

    - (****) RT Nick Curry has committed to Ohio State (Curry and Williams will be bookend tackles for OSU for several seasons)

    Week 2

    - - (****) C Aaron Carter has committed to Ohio State (may be cut, lowest OVR rating in class as of this point, 73 OVR 100% scouted)

    Better than expected:
    1. SS #4 Mike Howard 75 OVR ---> 81 OVR +6
    2. G #21 Dan Gipson 72 OVR ---> 77 OVR +5
    3. T #6 Nick Curry 76 OVR ---> 79 OVR +3

    Worse than expected:
    1. K #1 Trevor Crooks 86 OVR ---> 80 OVR -6
    2. FB #1 Chris Hillis 84 OVR ---> 79 OVR -5
    3. ATH #1 T.J. Ross 84 OVR ---> 81 OVR -3

    This one will show on the week 8 update, he was insta-committed in week 7

    I just updated my recruiting board.

    I am most excited about signing the #1 OLB in the Nation, 5 star Jared Morris from Terrell, TX. Jared comes in 6'0 225 with 82 speed and A acceleration. His speed should fit in nicely with the defensive philosophy at UCLA.

    We also found a nice diamond in the rough in 3 star OLB Travis Smith out of Ontario, CA. He is 74 overall (+11). He is 6'2 242 and has very nice speed (81) and acceleration (97).

    UCLA continues to use scouting as a way to find those 3 star gems that often get over looked.

    Ohio State has just 1 scholarship remaining after 5 commitments from week 7 to 8. The Buckeyes are at the cap for :5stars: players this season. I insta-committed 1 additional player in week, #3 OlB Brandon Howe. I did not plan to add any linebackers this year but couldn't pass on Howe.

    Week 8
    - (*****) WR Bobby Shaw has committed to Ohio State - Good speed and route running skills, along with a big frame (6'2 218).
    - (****) C Anthony Ford has committed to Ohio State - Balanced blocker that will need to hit the weight room. He will likely be a reserve next season.
    - (****) RT Matt Horton has committed to Ohio State - With 3 tackles, 2 guards and 2 centers already signed the Buckeyes should be set at line for years.
    - (****) CB Brian Butler has committed to Ohio State - Butler's lack of agility is a concern but he has great coverage skills and good speed.
    - (*****) QB Jerry Martin has committed to Ohio State - Martin is the future QB of OSU but he will have to wait a few years to be a starter.

    12 SR's
    0 empty spaces
    +2

    14 total available to sign.

    10 signed so far.

    I hope they don't sign a bunch of guys in the off season like they did in the past.
