    Week 3 Power Rankings

#1 New Mexico 3-0 After taking care of the defending BCS champs and then winning 2 more, New Mexico looks to bust the BCS and is number 1 team until they prove otherwise.

#2 Florida 2-0 The Gators look to be a very strong team this year beating a good Miami team and then knocking off the Comish in week 3.

#3 UCLA 2-0 The Bruins have started the season strong winning big over Buffalo in week 1 and then getting a big win against a very good Iowa team.

#4 Mississippi State 2-0 Miss State has started the season off strong winning both of their games but against week opponents Troy and USF. Can they keep it up against stronger competition?

#5 Cal 2-0 Cal has started off the season strong but like Miss State they have faced weak compitition beating Baylor and Northwestern. Can they keep the wins coming against some strong Pac 10 compitition?

#6 Virginia 2-1 After taking a tough loss in week 1 to the Lobos. Virginia has come back strong beating a tough Miami and team and also a very good Iowa team. If the defending champs can keep it up they are sure to be in the mix for another BCS title.

#7 Texas Tech 1-1 The Red Raiders got a good win in week 2 against a good UTEP team but lost to our #2 team Florida in Week 3. If they can bounce back this week it will go a long ways to proving they a true contenders.

#8 Arkansas 1-1 After getting a big win against rivals Arkansas State, they lost a tough one against a very good Alabama Team.

#9 Stanford 1-1 After losing a tough opening game to rivals Fresno State the Cardinals bounced back with a good win over a good Utah team.

#10 UTEP 0-2 The Miners have had the toughest start to the season by far having to play Texas Tech in week 2 and then New Mexico in week 3. If they can bounce back in the coming weeks they are sure to make a big move in the rankings.

    Week 7 Power Rankings

#1 Florida 5-0 Florida takes over the top spot as they continue to roll, dominating every opponent in the SEC.

#2 New Mexico 5-0 The Lobos are jumped by Florida due to their weak MWC schedule. However, if they continue to win they may have a date in the MNC game.

#3 UCLA 5-0 The Bruins continue to roll taking out a great Cal team in Week 6.

#4 Mississippi State 5-0 Miss State continues to dominate the SEC, beating a good LSU team in week 5 and showing everyone they are for real.

#5 Virginia 5-1 The defending champs move up one spot to #5 as they continue to play strong.

#6 Texas Tech 4-1 The Red Raiders continue to roll through their schedule in dominating fashion.

#7 Arkansas 4-1 Arkansas continues to dominate the SEC after taking a tough loss to Alabama. Are they a force in the SEC? Only time will tell.

#8 Cal 3-1 The Bears lost a tough one to UCLA in week 6 but if they can bounce back they can still be a force in the Pac 10.

#9 UTEP 3-2 After losing 2 tough user games, UTEP has bounced back strong winning every game since.

#10 Stanford 3-2 The Cardinal continue to be inconsistant but after knocking of #15 Oregon in Eugene Stanford looks to keep the momentum going.

#11 Kent State 3-2 Since hiring a new coach Kent State has played strong winning their last 2.

#12 Mid Tenn State 3-2 After hiring a new coach Mid Tenn has played much better. Can they keep it up?
