Week 16 was going to be a true test for the Titans leading up to the playoffs. The Titans look to be a lock for a seed, with 11-3 record coming into Jacksonville. The Titans figured they would have their hands full. With starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger who has been great in his rookie season, getting injured last week against the Jets. Zac Dysert would get the start over the starter of the season Jake Locker.

Zac Dysert who was picked up in Free Agency back in week 4, would only hope to be on a NFL roster. As he comes into today moving himself into the back up roll, over Locker because he has been so impressive in practice. He will finally get his starting chance for the next few critical weeks for the Titans, including playoffs!

And to the game we go.

Dysert would look very impressive against the Jags defense, completing 7 of 7 passes to score a touchdown on the Titans first drive.

The Jags streamed a couple of good plays together to move into field goal range and add 3 to the board.

After a 3 and out by Titans.

Jags would once again move down field, but stingy Titans defense that has played awesome all season would only allow 3 points yet again.

Dysert would look unbelievable on the next drive not missing any of his receivers and spreading the ball around like Ebola. (too soon?) Dysert would then connect with Nate Washington on a 45 yard pass for a touchdown.

Later the Titans would add 3 more points and look for the win.

Jags quarterback would connect with fellow rookie Marqise Lee for a touchdown late in the 4th. Jags would go for 2 but would be denied.

Titans would hold on for the Win, and look forward to next week with a matchup with the Colts.
