    Week #5

Arkansas State Red Wolves vs. FIU Golden Panthers

The FIU Golden Panthers will walk into Jonesboro, Arkansas repping either a 1-3 or an 0-4 record depending on this weeks game against the Cardinals of Louisville. Either way, this should be an exciting, competitive game to watch. Arkansas State currently sits at 1-3, but those losses came against three extremely talented teams in Arkansas, Cal, and Texas A&M. FIU's 3 losses have been by a combined 20 points, so this Golden Panther team is no slouch. In all aspects, this is a huge conference game for both teams.

Arkansas State Keys to the Game:
1.) Effectiveness of HB Frankie Jackson.
    - Jackson currently is averaging over 4 yards per carry for the Red Wolves, should he be able to continue this in Week 5, Arkansas State will have a great chance to win the game.
    2.) QB Ryan Aplin's Accuracy
    - Aplin has struggled finding his targets early on in the season, it is evident Aplin will need to have a good game to keep Arkansas State in this one.
    3.) Red Wolves' Secondary
    - You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that the Golden Panthers don't run the ball much. So how the Arkansas State secondary steps up to the challenge will be on of the biggest factors in this game.

    FIU Keys to the Game
    1.) Golden Panther Defensive Line
    - How will the FIU defense stop Frankie Jackson? Or in better terms, how will they contain him? This game could be won in the trenches for the Golden Panther defense, but will they step up in this huge conference game?
    2.) Turnovers
    - FIU has had its share of turnovers this season, with 5 of them coming from the arm of QB Jake Medlock. Medlock will need to keep the ball in his receivers' hands for FIU to win the game.

    My Expert Prediction:
    Arkansas State 38 FIU 24

Good luck to both teams, it is sure to be a good one.
